Michael Fletcher opened to 350 from middle position and was called by Carlo Citrone two seats to his left, the small blind (who wishes to remain anonymous) and Kelly Saxby in the big blind.
The action checked to Fletcher on the flop, Fletcher bet 700 and only Mr Anon called. On the turn, Fletcher bet 1,075 when checked to and was called, then bet 2,000 on the river, but his anonymous opponent didn't make the call on this street.
Steven Warburton, fresh from his third place finish in the High Roller event, was in the big bind and called a 375 late position raise from Florian Duta. The flop fell and Warburton check-called a 450 bet. Warburton checked the turn and folded when Duta took continued with a 1,050 bet.

The British legends have taken their seats in the £1 million guaranteed Main Event. One of them, Simon Trumper, is one of the directors here. He's usually quite talkative at and away from the tables, but he's lost his voice, which could be good news for those who he's seated with today.
The other is the legendary Willie Tann who has carved himself a living from this crazy game for longer than most of this field have been alive.
Tamer Kamel bust from the High Roller twice, but he's not let that put him off entering the £2,200 buy-in Main Event. He's up to 32,200 chips from a starting stack of 30,000 despite losing a small pot to Simon Brooks.
Kamel checked from the big blind on a flop, Brooks bet 1,050 from the cutoff and Emyr Lewis folded on the button. Kamel called and then checked the arrival of the turn. Brooks bet again, 3,000 chips, and Kamel folded.
Kelly Saxby raised to 350 from late position and sparked a flurry of activity. Matthew Davenport called in the hijack, Michael Fletcher then raised to 925 from the cutoff and Xie cold-called the 925 bet on the button. Saxby pput in the extra chips to call, as did Davenport.
Saxby and Davenport checked to Fletcher on the flop and he bet 1,275. Xie raised to 3,500 and only Saxby called. Both of the ladies checked the turn, with Saxby checking the river, also. Xie made it 7,500 to go and Saxby mucked her hand.
A big pot during the second level that gives Xie a solid foundation to build from.
