All In In the Dark

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Vasile Cosmin Stancu raised to 1,800 and faced the three-bet of Thanh Trung Hoang from one seat over to 4,700. The Romanian four-bet to 14,800 and then moved all in in the dark for what looked like 20,000 after Hoang had called. On the {4-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} flop, Hoang snap-called and tabled his {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds}.

Stancu only held {A-Clubs} {Q-Spades} and even had found top pair with his risky move. The {Q-Diamonds} turn was even more crazy as Stancu had now made trips and doubled after the {2-Hearts} river.

Price Busts to Essa

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

This time Paul Price didn't have a huge draw, rather bottom pair when the chips went in. He had raised to 2,300 and received two callers out of the blinds. On a flop of {8-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {J-Hearts} the action folded to Price and he moved all in for 13,000. Laurence Taufik Essa called whereas the player in the big blind folded.

It was the {4-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} for Price and the {K-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} for Essa. Neither the {Q-Clubs} turn nor the {A-Clubs} river changed anything and Price headed to the rail while finishing his beer.

O'Brien has Decent Stack

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

"I have about 70,000 chips now, that is good right?", Alexandra O'Brien said after the last of four hands was played on her table. She had called a raise to 2,500 and Daniel Sormainis did so as well out of the blinds. On the {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {K-Spades} flop, O'Brien's bet of 5,000 would be enough to win the pot and she flashed the {A-Spades} {J-Clubs} after the preflop raiser had mucked his {5-Spades} {5-Hearts}.

Harrison's Stack Melted

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Marc Jonathan Harrison was down to around 15,000 in chips and got them in preflop. Alexander Jager isolated successfully to get all other players out of the way and Harrison flipped over {10-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}. Jager had his opponent dominated with {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} and claimed the pot after a board of {A-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}.
