Tobias Peters
Tobias Peters

Tobias Peters has been knocked out after he bet all three streets of a {5-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} board with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} culminating in a river shove. Kayhan Tugrul quickly called though as he had floated the flop with {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs} before hitting a monster draw on the turn.

21 players now remain.

Daher Folds to River Check-Raise

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Sergey Rybachenko and Albert Daher
Sergey Rybachenko and Albert Daher

Albert Daher, who has chipped up well so far this level, had fired 14,000 on a {7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts} board with Sergey Rybachenko flat-calling while Asaf Avci folded. The {Q-Clubs} turn saw both players check while Rybachenko checked for a third time on the {4-Hearts} river. Daher now bet 58,000 but Rybachenko check-raised all in for around 200,000.

Daher tanked for a few minutes before flashing {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} to the people behind him, he then sent his cards sailing into the muck.

Erwan Pecheux Eliminated in 21st place ($10,150)

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Erwan Pecheux
Erwan Pecheux

Erwan Pecheux opened for 13,000, Alexey Rybin called and Andrei Nikonov in the small blind raised to 37,000. Shoman folded his big blind and it was back on Pecheux who moved all in for the rest of his 180,000 chips. A fold from Rybin but a call from Nikonov. Pecheux had {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} up against Nikonov’s {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. The cards fell {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades}. But the unfortunate Pecheux wasn’t out quite yet. He was left with 13000. Just over two big blinds.

He would get it in a couple of hands later on the big blind when Shouman raised and he called. Shouman had {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs} to Pecheux’s {9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and this time he was out as the cards came {3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}.

Relax

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

It must have been a stressful day so far at table 1, as four of the seven players are now having a massage. Bernard Samaha, Maximilian Droege, Kfir Yamin and Jacoues Torbey are all having their aching muscles soothed by the hard working massage girls.

Rainer Kempe Eliminated in 20th Place ($10,150)

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

All the chips went flying into the middle on a flop of {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Hearts} between Rainer Kempe and Jerfi Fıratlı.

Kempe: {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the old straight flush draw.
Firatli: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for the old middle set.

Kempe needed a nine or a heart but could hit neither on the {3-Clubs} turn or {A-Diamonds} river.

We're just one elimination away from our redraw for two tables.

Artem Vezhnekov Eliminated in 19th Place ($10,150); Sari Haddad Eliminated in 18th Place ($11,600)

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Baris Topkaya opened for 13,000 in the cut-off; Artem Vezhnekov went all in from the small blind and was followed with an all-in from Sari Haddad in the big blind. Topkaya asked for a count, thought through all the implications and made the call. Topkaya held {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, Vezhnekov {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and Haddad had {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}. All big aces, not a pair between them incredibly, and Topkaya with the best of it.

The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} Two players bust out and Topkaya gather in a big pot.
