'Darryl the Dealer' just stopped by the PokerNews booth to say hello. We asked him about the first hand of the tournament and he said, "I've dealt every final table here in New Orleans, and I have never seen anything like that first hand."

Costner {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

The flop is {Q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}, the turn is the {2-Hearts}, the river is the {3-Clubs}. Miles and Costner split the pot, both making a six-high straight courtesy of the river card.

Hand #17 - Nick Ceci

Nick Ceci has the button in Seat 9. Timothy Miles raises to 30,000, Nick Ceci announces "raise" and makes it a total of 100,000.

"I think this is your last hand," says Ceci as Miles ponders the call.

"Do you like your hand?" asks Miles before quickly saying "call." He flips over his hand, but his opponent is not all in. Ergo, his hand will stay face up as they go to the flop. It comes down {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. Miles immediately puts him all in and Ceci calls.

Ceci {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

Miles {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The turn is the {7-Diamonds}, the river is the {7-Hearts} and Ceci wins the pot.

Someone at the final table told Gabe Costner's girlfriend that she, "Should have worn your cheerleader outfit."

Someone from the crowd replied, "Yeah, and you could have used your pom poms."

Costner's girlfriend replied, "I don't have pom poms, but I have these," as she points to her chest, in an apparent attempt to distract her boyfriend's opponents.
