From late position, Billy Kopp came in with a raise to 31,000. Two seats down, Kenny Milam moved all in for his last 86,000. Kopp quickly called, and Milam's tournament life was hanging in the balance.

The flop was dry, coming . The on the turn opened the door just a little as Milam picked up a pair. Unfortunately for him though, the river blanked off with the , and with that, Kenny Milam becomes our 8th-place finisher. He'll take home nearly $26,000 for his work over the past three days.
After that little surge of chip slinging, things have calmed right back down at the table. The overall mood is relatively passive with the majority of the pots being taken down uncontested right now. We've had three or four walks in the last orbit, and the rest of the hands have been won with a single preflop raise or a single postflop bet.
In fact, as I'm typing, the last three hands in a row have all been walks to the big blind. "Lots of walkin' going on," noted emcee Steve Frezer as he called another dealer into the box to try and spice things up.
It'll be interesting to see how long this inactivity will last as the short stacks get ever shorter.
Jean Gaspard - 1,515,000
Billy Kopp - 760,000
Ken Christopher - 375,000
Daniel Walsh - 252,000
Justin Allen - 142,000
Anita Vasquez - 80,000
Steven McKoy - 62,000
First in from the button, Ken "Bama" Christopher came in raising to 42,000. Big blind Billy Kopp felt the urge and put in a re-raise to 95,000. Without much delay, Bama moved all in for 367,000 total. Kopp took his time to consider his options, shooting the odd glance across the table before releasing his hand into the muck.
Steven McKoy has been patiently waiting for a hand to move all in with and finally found one. He moved all in from middle position for 39,000 total. Action folded to Jean Gaspard in the small blind and he made the call. Ken "Bama" Christopher folded out of the big blind.
McKoy held pocket jacks and Gaspard held . The board ran out to give McKoy the double and a little bit more life.
Under the gun, Justin Allen got things started with a raise to 30,000. In middle position, Jean Gaspard put in the call. Steven McKoy was in the big blind with just 49,000 chips left, and he ducked out, letting his two opponents go heads up.
The flop came down , and both players checked. Fourth street brought the . Allen took control once again, firing out a bet of 40,000. Gaspard wasted little time calling. The last card off the deck was the . Allen slowed down now, passing over to the big stack, and Gaspard obliged him with a quick bet of 80,000. Allen called.
Gaspard turned over , having rivered the Broadway straight. With a disgusted look on his face, Allen flung his cards into the muck. "F***ing serious?... Never in my goddamn life..." After taking that hit, Allen was crippled all the way down to 55,000.
On the very next hand, Gaspard opened into Allen's big blind with a raise to 30,000. When it came around to Allen, he moved all in for that 55,000, and Gaspard quickly called.

The board would run out bone dry for the at-risk player, and Gaspard's pair of fours was good enough to win the pot. With that, Justin "LockdownTex" Allen becomes our 7th-place finisher, stopping by the payout desk to pick up his check for just shy of $32,000 on his way out the door.
Anita Vasquez has been nursing the short stack for quite some time now. Finally, she moved all in for 54,000 and found a caller in Jean Gaspard. Gaspard wasn't the only caller though. Ken "Bama" Christopher took a minute or two in the tank and then made the call as well from the small blind. The big blind, Daniel Walsh, folded.
The two active players in the hand, Gaspard and Christopher checked the action down the entire way as the board ran out .
When it was time for a showdown, Christopher turned up , Gaspard held pocket fives, and Vasquez held . Christopher scooped the pot with queens full of kings and eliminated Vasquez in sixth place.
The last woman standing earned nearly $40,000 for her efforts.
Jean Gaspard open-raised from the button before Ken "Bama" Christopher reraised from the small blind. Then, Daniel Walsh moved all in for about 200,000 from the big blind. Gaspard folded and Christopher snapped!

The flop came down . The turn brought the , which did help Walsh a little. The river was the though and that did it for Walsh. Christopher's fellow members of Team Snap Turtle congratulated him as he raked in the big pot and eliminated Walsh in fifth place.
