From Rags to Richey; Nair Doubles Again

Level 17 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Jay Nair shoved his 24,700 chips into the middle from early position, and Brett Richey called all the way around in the big blind. When the cards were turned up, the news was not good for the all-in player:

Nair: {K-Diamonds} {J-Spades}
Richey: {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}

things would improve in a hurry for Nair, however, as the dealer put a friendly {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {6-Spades} flop down on board. Richey was now drawing to a ten for Broadway or his ace for a better pair. The turn {Q-Spades} was a blank, and the river {9-Hearts} was safe for Nair as well. He's doubled up to 54,000 after being under 10,000 a couple orbits ago.

Richey drops to 110,000 after unwillingly granting that double.
