Coming into the day in fourth place with an above-average stack is Patrick Karschamroon.

A 29-year-old poker pro from Los Angeles, California, Karschamroon was a lowly retail salesman before making the jump to the felt full time. In 2009, he binked a $1,000 event at the Legends of Poker to scribe his first real mark onto the tournament scoreboard. He improved on that result in a big way one year later at the California State Poker Championships where he took down a $3,085 event, besting a stacked final table to take more than $160,000 in cash. He went on to add two small cashes to his credit as last year's WSOP.

Wherever he finishes today, Karschamroon will top $250,000 in career earnings. Will he snag his first gold ring as well?

First Two Hands

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

On the first hand, action folded to Alex Masek in the cutoff seat and he raised to 25,000. Everyone folded and he won the pot.

On the second hand, Hayden Fortini raised to 23,000 from the button and Narinder Khasria called from the big blind to see the flop come down {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{3-Spades}. Both players checked and the turn was the {6-Clubs}. Both checked again and the river completed the board with the {10-Hearts}. After Khasria checked, Fortini bet 25,000 and won the pot.

Seneca Easley limped in from the small blind and Lori Nunes checked in the big blind to see the flop come down {J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Easley bet 25,000 and Nunes thought for a minute. She began looking around as if looking for some help from someone that she couldn't find. She then looked to the sky for a little bit prior to folding the {K-Spades}{2-Spades} face up.

Alex Masek - 9th Place

Patrick Karschamroon raised from the hijack seat to 26,000. Action then folded over to Alex Masek in the big blind and he moved all in for 250,000. Karschamroon called with the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} to have Masek's {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} dominated.

The flop came down {J-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Masek's hopes got slimmer. The turn was the {9-Spades} and the river the {7-Diamonds}, eliminating Masek in ninth place.

From across the room, Mstr Lynch gave a big fist pump high in the air as he knows he now has the Casino Champion title locked up. Masek earned $6,335 for his finish.
