The big blind checked again, and Young reached for chips. The big blind then jokingly said "Don't bet I checked you should check too." A puzzled Young looked at him and confessed, "well now I'm really confused." Young grabbed a 5,000 chip, and his opponent instantly grabbed one as well, as if to say he would once again snap. Young declared 4,000, and his opponent backed it up, instantly calling. Young showed , but his opponent said, "no good" showing for a rivered straight.
