The players have returned to their seats, and the cards are back in the air. We will play 3 more levels before the players take their dinner break.
As we've returned from the break, we notice that we lost a big name and also added one. David Williams sat down just over an hour ago, but his seat is already empty, meaning that he has been eliminated. We also saw that Joe Tehan, fresh off a cash in the $1,000 event that started yesterday, has taken his seat in this event.

As we came to Gavin Griffin's table, we saw that he was in the middle of a big pot. There was about 12,000 already in the middle, on a board that read . Griffin was heads up with an opponent in the small blind, who fired out 6,500 on the turn. Griffin thought for about 20 seconds before tossing in the call, and they saw a river of . Griffin's opponent tanked for about 30 seconds, before electing to check. Griffin quickly checked behind, and the cards were turned up.

We picked up the action on a flop being contested three-ways. The preflop pot had built to about 9,000-chips.
The player in the small blind position led for 2,500 and was called by Alan Murphy. Then the player in the cutoff position raised to 8,000. The initial raiser laid his hand down before Murphy three-bet to 27,500. This forced his opponent to make a decision for his tournament life. In the end, he wasn't willing to take the risk and mucked his hand.

Tim Acker called a raise to 1,275 from the hijack before the player on the button three-bet to 3,475. The initial raiser folded while Acker decided to see a flop.
The dealer spread out on the board and Acker checked. His opponent over-bet all in for his final 18,000 or so in chips. Acker quickly made the call.

The turn opened up the door with four more outs to complete the come-from-behind win, but the river dashed those dreams and allowed Acker to rake in the pot.
