Carroll Become Early Leader

Level 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

James Carroll raised to 300 in first position preflop and was called by the players in the cutoff and small blind positions.

The flop came down {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. After a check, Carroll continued for 600. Both players called.

The turn was the {5-Spades} which is when things picked up in a hurry. Carroll was able to continue again for 1,800. The player in position folded but the next opponent check-raised to 3,600. Carroll three-bet to 8,800 and quickly called when his opponent moved all in.

Carroll: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Opponent: {5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Before Carroll even had the chance to flip over his hand, the player who was all in said, "I was unfortunate enough to have a five." Sure enough, Carroll had him crushed and drawing thin. The {2-Clubs} river bricked off to officially knock out one of our first players.

Carroll is up to 50,000.
