Aruther Can't Crack Aces

Andrew Arthur three-bet shoved all in preflop with {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Brian Lee snapped him off with {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. The {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} flop gave Arthur outs to win, the {7-Spades} on the turn gave him more outs to win and a few outs to chop, but the {4-Diamonds} bricked in the river.

Lee now sits with over 200,000 chips.

Parker's Kings Cracked

A short-stacked player had just moved to Table 18 and moved all in for 25,000 from the hijack. The cutoff and button both folded, and then Jim Parker called from the small blind. The big got out of the way and the cards were turned up:

Parker: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

Parker was ahead and looking to dodge an ace, but he couldn't do it as there was one right on the {4-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} flop. Parker looked displeased as the dealer ran out the {8-Clubs} turn and {2-Clubs} river. His cracked kings left him with just 45,000.

Take Some Chips to the Carwash

Michael “Carwash” Schneider was all in preflop for his last 31,000 holding {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} against the {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} of Yusham Shi. It was a race, but not so much after the flop fell {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and paired Shi's ace.

Carwash rose from his seat in preparation to exit the tournament floor, but he paused when the {2-Diamonds} delivered him straight and flush options. Wouldn't you know it, the {5-Diamonds} spiked on the river to give Carwash the flush and the double.

"I was just stretching," Carwash said before retaking his seat.

Nguyen and Ilich Battle

Will Nguyen and Drazen Ilich were heads up on a board of {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. Nguyen led out for 32,500, and Ilich made the call.

The {3-Spades} completed the board, and slowly, Nguyen assembled a bet. Before he could even plop it across the line, an annoyed Ilich folded.

Ilich is down below the 600,000-chip threshold, while Nguyen now sits with around 310,000.
