Stevenson Doubles Through Kruger

Level 26 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Norman McKeldin opened to 45,000 only to have David Kruger three-bet to an unknown amount from the next seat over. It folded around to short-stack Ryan Stevenson who moved all in for 336,000 total. McKeldin folded and Kruger called.

Kruger: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Stevenson: {A-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Stevenson paired up on the {4-Spades}{K-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop and never relinquished his lead through the {A-Spades} turn and the {Q-Hearts} river. He's now sitting around 700,000 while Kruger has dropped to about 1.35 million.

Stevenson Doubles Again

Level 26 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Jerry Barlow opened to 55,000 and received calls from Ryan Stevenson, David Kruger from the small blind, and Andrew Rothfolk from the large.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and the blinds checked to Barlow who c-bet for 135,000. Stevenson flat called to see a turn and the blinds got out of the way. Fourth street was the {3-Spades} and Barlow moved a large stack of chips in which was enough to put Stevenson all in. He called for his tournament life.

Stevenson: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Barlow: {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Barlow needed an ace or a heart to send Stevenson packing, but instead the river bricked out, giving Stevenson a second double up here at this unofficial final table.

Rothfolk Running Over Table

Level 27 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Michael Sanders raised to 54,000 from early position only to have Andrew Rothfolk three-bet to 126,000 from the small blind. Sanders called and the two took a flop that read {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

Rothfolk bet 77,000 and Sanders called. The turn was the {4-Spades} and Rothfolk slowed with a check. Sanders fired 182,000 and Rothfolk flat called. The {9-Spades} rivered and the action went check-check. Rothfolk showed {A-Spades}{k-Clubs} and Sanders mucked, allowing Rothfolk to scoop the pot.

Kruger Catches Dream Flop To Double

Level 27 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

David Kruger decided to run the gauntlet. He moved his last 185,000 all in from under the gun. It folded to Dan Blakeman who called from the small blind. Norman McKeldin tanked from the big blind before releasing.

Blakeman: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Kruger: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}

The flop was a dream for Kruger - {J-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. He flopped a straight and was just about certain to double up. The turn and the river were the {8-Clubs} and the {5-Clubs}, making his victory official. Kruger now has around 400,000 while Blakeman has dropped to roughly 700,000.

Maletic Folds to Four-Bet

Level 27 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Andrew Rothfolk opened with a raise to 48,000 from the cutoff. Mark Maletic took his time cutting out a three-bet to 133,000 from the button. The small blind folded and James Watkins quickly announced all in for 511,000 from the big blind. Rothfolk folded and Maletic went into the tank.

After about ninety seconds, Maletic quietly released his cards.

"I hope you were bluffing," said Maletic as Watkins scooped his new chips.

This loss brings Matletic down to about 550,000 while Watkins is sitting on roughly 620,000.

Kruger Triples

Level 27 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

We missed the action, but were informed that a short stacked David Kruger moved all in for his last 151,000 before the flop and received three calls. Kruger held {K-}{j-}. The flop held an {A-} and a {Q-} and he hit the {10-} on the river to make Broadway. He's currently sitting on about 600,000.
