Day 2 of the World Series of Poker Circuit presented by Southern Comfort 100 Proof Horseshoe Southern Indiana Main Event is set to begin with nearly 200 players set to take the felt. Leading them all is Greg Brletich with 116,300.

Lurking behind Brletich is Sean Winter (115,100), Mike Iacovone (112,000) and Stephen Dodd (96,500). Plenty of notables are in action today as Rex Clinkscales, Larry Gurney, Ari Engel, "Captain" Tom Franklin, Chris Karambinis, Dan Heimiller, Eric Baldwin, Josh Rotenberg, Aaron Massey, Robert Scott, Aaron Steury and Kathy Liebert all remain in the field.

Today's action calls for 12 levels or to a final table of nine - whichever should happen first. Judging by the size of the field it's a safer bet that they will be playing the full 12 levels.

Cards are scheduled to be in the air promptly at 1 p.m. EST. Follow all the WSOPC action live on Pokernews.com.

Heimiller Wins Monster Pot

Dan Heimiller took down a monster pot with aces.
Dan Heimiller took down a monster pot with aces.

Three players all moved all in preflop with healthy stacks. At the end of the hand the two players that lost were in no mood to talk to us.

Dan Heimiller: {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}
Player 1: {K-Clubs} {K-Hearts}
Player 2: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran {5-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} and Heimiller eliminated Player 2 and Player 1 was left with just a few thousand chips.

Heimiller took the tournament chip lead with that hand.

Scott Crippled in Two Hands

Robert Scott has been crippled.
Robert Scott has been crippled.

Robert Scott had been playing a steady, quiet game all tournament. He spent most of his reading a book.

He ran pocket kings into pocket aces and lost a hefty portion of his stack. Just a few hands later he called on the river with a board of {10-Hearts} {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {7-Spades}. His opponent tabled {8-Spades} {5-Spades} for a flush.

He moved all in preflop on the very next hand and picked up a round of blinds and antes. He's in shove mode and this close to the money he's taking a gamble.

Eveslage Takes Large Chip Lead Into Day 3

Level 21 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Chad Eveslage will bring a near 350,000 chip lead into Day 3.
Chad Eveslage will bring a near 350,000 chip lead into Day 3.

Day 2 of the World Series of Poker Circuit presented by Southern Comfort 100 Proof Horseshoe Southern Indian Main Event has wrapped after a long 13-hour day. Of the 140 players that returned only 21 remain. Leading the charge with a healthy lead is Chad Eveslage after he bagged up 840,000.

Jason Stanford (599,000), John Tate (516,000) and Sean Winter (470,000) form the chase pack behind Evelsage. Charles Furey, Kevin Davis, Ilias Kellikidis and Dan Heimiller are also in contention to make some noise tomorrow.

Kathy Liebert is the short stack after bagging up 89,000. Yussi Azulay, Kenny Nguyen, Tim Chang and Stephen Boker join Liebert at the bottom of the counts.

Rounding out the field are Bryan Dillon, Neil Harding, Aaron Kerns, Joseph Worth, Ki Kim, Drennon Rackley, Jonathan Taylor and Bryan Williams

The day had a rough start after a 30-minute delay due to redraw problems and a train delay – yes, a train delay. The highway that leads to casino was blocked by stopped freight train that caused many of the local players a delay in arriving on time.

Once cards hit the air it was action as usual. Although, most of time the money bubble is reached around the dinner break the field did not reach the money until a full two levels after returning from dinner. Robert Scott was the unfortunate player that was the last to be eliminated without receiving a payout.

Midway through the day Liebert went on a tear for a level and half. She went from a slightly below average stack to one of the leaders after doubling through Sean Winter. Then she picked up pocket aces and got all her chips in on the turn when her opponent held pocket eights.

Cards will be in the air promptly at 1 p.m. EST and we’ll play down to a winner. Follow all the action live on Pokernews.com.
