Welcome to Day 1a of the 2017 WSOP Circuit Rozvadov Main Event

Day 1a of the WSOP Circuit Main Event at the King's Casino in Rozvadov gets underway today at 2pm with four days of poker to look forward to as the Rozvadov Festival reaches a climax.

Some of the players who have been spotted already in town are November Niners Vojtech Ruzicka from Czech Republic, and Pierre Neuville from Belgium. Another Czech Republic native in Martin Kabrhel will also be in attendnace, along with England’s Sam Grafton. They will be joined over the two starting days by players from all over the world attempting to win a coveted gold WSOP Circuit ring and a slice of the huge prizepool.

The last time the WSOP Circuit Main Event was held at King’s Casino, Ivan Banic from Croatia beat Germany’s Yehuda Cohen heads-up to take home a whopping €232,241 conquering a big field of 851 in November 2016 to be crowned champion.

The Main Event is a €1,650 entry with a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000. Players are permitted a single re-entry each starting day with a starting stack of 30,000 with 12 levels of 45 minutes scheduled for today.

Day 1b is on Saturday at 2pm following the same format and Day 2 on Sunday and Day 3 on Monday switch to hour long levels and play down to a winner and a new champion.
