The World Series of Poker Circuit at Harrah’s $1,700 Main Event kicks off today, with Day 1a. This is the first of two opening day flights and it is set to begin at 12:00p.m. local time.

Players will begin with 30,000 starting chips, and Day 1a is scheduled to play through 15 40-minute levels before wrapping up for the night. All players are allowed one re-entry per flight, and late registration is available up through the beginning of Level 13.

The blinds begin at 100/100, with a big blind ante kicking in at Level 2. Those blind/ante levels will go up to 2000/3000/3000 at Level 15, the last level of play on Day 1.

The ultimate prize on the line is the WSOP Circuit ring, and the right to be called the WSOP Circuit Harrah’s Main Event champion.

Today's action is the first of two Day 1 flights, with Day 1b scheduled for Friday. The survivors of Day 1a and Day 1b will come back as a combined field for Day 2 Saturday. Day 3 commences on Sunday, and the tournament will play down to a champion.
