Brady Survives on Bubble

Level 17 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Charles Brady was all in with the {a-}{k-} against the {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} of Trace Henderson.

The flop was bad news for Brady as it came {6-}{j-}{j-} to make him stand up. However, the turn was the {k-Spades} to swing it back in his favor and the {8-} confirmed his survival and double. Hand-for-hand play continues.

Myers Bombs River

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The flop read {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} with four players contesting the hand. Bradley Myers bet 10,000, David Walters called, and two players folded.

The turn was the {9-Hearts}. Myers bet 30,000 and was called by Walters. The river came the {q-Spades} and Myers loaded up again before firing 85,000. Walters thought for about 15 seconds and laid it down

"The river saved you," said Walters as he folded and indeed Myers showed the {j-}{10-} to indicate that it had.

Robertson Bubbles IP Biloxi Main Event

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

After an extended period of hand-for-hand play the bubble finally burst.

Raphael Robertson was all in preflop for his remaining 125,000. He was in big trouble as his {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} was crushed by the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} of Rami Owera.

The board provided nothing out of the ordinary as it ran out {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Robertson was gone, giving the rest of the field a guaranteed payday.

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Bill Phillips was seen getting up from the table.

Action was retold as the players having got it in on the flop with Phillips holding {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and Benny Champlin pocket aces. The former missed all of his outs on a board of {10-}{k-}{x-}{q-} with two spades when a blank came on the river.

Owera Four Bet Shoves

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Rai Owera raised to 18,000 from early position. He got a call on the button from Benny Champlin. From the small blind, Carlos Guerrero then three-bet to 65,000.

Owera then four-bet jammed to turn up the heat. Champlin quickly folded and Guerrero stared down Owera.

"You're not gonna get anything from me so you can stop staring," said Owera with a bit of a smile as he waited for the decision.

After about 15 seconds, Guerrero pitched his cards into the muck and Owera took the boon to his stack.

Joan Hartwell (from Day 1a)
Joan Hartwell (from Day 1a)

The flop was a very dangerous looking {k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. Phillip Walsh bet 75,000 and Joan Hartwell thought for a while before tossing all her chips into the middle for slightly more. Walsh called.

Hartwell was ahead with the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} against the {a-Spades}{8-Spades} of Walsh.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} but the river came the {8-Clubs} to spell doom to Hartwell and end her run with a min-cash.
