Lucci the Benefactor as Wilson Continues to Plummet

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Gary Lucci opened to 30,000 from the hijack, Brock Wilson called in the small blind and Mark Zullo defended his big. The dealer fanned out {j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} on the flop and all three players checked to the {j-Diamonds} turn card.

Wilson led out for 30,000 and only Lucci stuck around to see the {k-Spades} river card. Wilson bet 33,000 and Lucci swiftly bumped it up to 90,000.

Wilson thought about his decision for several minutes, ultimately he let his hand go and Lucci scooped in the pot, dropping Wilson down even more.

Faraz Jaka opened to 27,000 from under the gun and Jamey Kramer moved all in, totaling 136,000. Jaka called and the two tabled their hands with Kramer at risk of elimination.

Jamey Kramer: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Faraz Jaka: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

The flop came down {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, giving Kramer the lead with his pair of nines. A {4-Clubs} landed on the turn, taking away an out for Jaka to take down the pot but it was of no help to Kramer as the {a-Hearts} completed the board, sending the pot to Jaka who rivered a bullet and Kramer was eliminated.
