Fox Eliminates Simmons

Mark Simmons was just eliminated from the tournament by Dustin Fox in 11th place.

Dustin had opened the pot for a 12,000 raise and Simmons moved all in over the top for approximately 40,000; Dustin made the call and turned over A-Q. Simmons tabled A-5. The board blanked out and Fox's A-Q high was good enough to take down the pot.

For his 11th-place finish, Simmons earned $10,170 in prize money.

Thomas Eliminated; Final Table Set

John Thomas just lost the remainder of his chips to Michael Banducci after getting all of his money in on a 7-5-5 flop holding K-7; Banducci tabled 5-8 for trip fives. A king fell on the turn, giving Thomas some additional outs to stay alive, but the river blanked out, ending Thomas' tournament run in 10th place, good for a $10,170 payday.

Thomas' elimination ensured a spot at the Bluff Media Final Table for each of the nine remaining competitors, who will return tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 p.m. PST to play down to a winner.
