Event #11: Deepstack Bounty Hunters $500K Gtd

Day 1 Started

Its Bounty Day Again

Event 11 DeepStack Bounty Hunter
Event 11 DeepStack Bounty Hunter

Tuesdays during the 2020 GGPoker WSOP Online Super Circuit are bounty days featuring Deepstack Bounty Hunter events. Today's edition is the 11th ring event in this 18 event series that runs through the end of May. With the live world in turmoil of late, the World Series of Poker Circuit had to find a new place to hold events, and GGPoker stepped up to the plate with a massive series that includes 18 ring events with $100 million in guarantees, as well as numerous side events.

Event #11: Deepstack Bounty Hunters $500K Gtd follows the same structure as the other two deepstack bounty events on previous Tuesdays in May. Players start with 20,000 chips and play 12 minute levels until level 20, at which point levels lengthen to 15 minutes. When they hit the final table, the level clock is stopped, and levels increase every 30 hands. Half the buy in goes to prize pool, while the other $100 goes to the player's bounty, 50% of which goes to the winning player after a bustout, while the other 50% is added to their own bounty.

Late registration for this one is available for 240 minutes, and a winner will be decided before the end of the day. With two hours still to go until the first cards are dealt, there are already nearly 400 players registered, including GGPoker players like Felipe Ramos, MIkhail Semin, Dan.Almeida, and ElBiastoPoker.

Action gets underway at 2pm Eastern time, and PokerNews will be prowling the virtual floor to bring you the action throughout the day.
