J.C. Tran is absolutely dominating his table. He has won two huge pots and is now up to 180,000 in chips.
In the first hand he had the worst of it when the money went in, holding Q-10 on a flop of Q-J-10 against his opponent's Q-J. But a 10 on the turn gave him the pot.
In the second hand, his opponent slowplayed a set of eights and Tran was able to bust him when he hit a flush on the turn.
We are in the money, it is short handed, and the payouts are flat -- you do the math. We are losing players everywhere and tables are breaking all around us. At last count there are now only 88 players left (of the 1,427 who started the day).
We will be updating the Prizepool & Payouts section very shortly, once we catch up on who has been busted.
The cutoff raises to 4,000 and Joe Awada makes it 10,500 from the big blind. The BB goes into the tank and eventually folds. Awada shows pocket Kings. He now has over 60,000 in chips.
