Padraig Parkinson Eliminated

Padraig Parkinson was all in for 14,500 on a flop of {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} against Gioi Luong. The players both showed:

Parkinson: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Luong: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The turn and the river brought {Q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Parkinson failed to improve his hand and was eliminated.

Humberto Brenes Eliminated

After a flop of {K-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, Humberto Brenes is all in for 63,500 against Chau Giang. Giang thinks about calling, and says, "Oh well, if I lose this pot, I come back." Giang calls, showing {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs} for pocket aces and a gut-shot straight draw. Brenes shows {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a pair of eights, and he'll need to improve to stay alive.

The last two cards are {K-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, and Giang's pocket aces hold up to win the pot. Humberto Brenes is eliminated before he can reach his fourth final table of the 2007 World Series of Poker.

The flop comes {Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}, it's checked to O'Dea who bets 15,000 from the button, Giang calls, and Birinder folds. The turn card is the {5-Spades}, and both Giang and O'Dea check. The river card is the {7-Hearts}, and they check again.

Giang shows {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a pair of aces, and O'Dea mucks. Giang takes the side pot.

Colclough shows {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a pair of threes, and he is eliminated from the tournament.

A Messed-Up Color-Up?

There is a bit of controversy at Erick Lindgren's table, as it appears that the color-up put too many chips into play. We're investigating further, but it sounds like they're going to study the tape from the surveillance cameras to determine who had how many chips.
