Eslami's Castle Crumbling

Ali Eslami's Chip Castle
Ali Eslami's Chip Castle
Ali Eslami had built himself a very intricate castle made of poker chips; literally. He left himself about 5,000 in excess to use for betting purposes, but has since been forced to break down some of the walls of his castle, as he's starting to lose some chips.

He's currently sitting on 23,000 chips after losing a decent sized pot and has demolished his castle, restacking his chips the traditional way.

Bonnie Leinhos is a Magnet for Aces

The members of Bonnie Leinhos' home poker club should be glad to know that she's playing some very solid poker and the cards are helping her out a little bit too.

Bonnie took down one of the last Seven Card Stud hands before the game switched to Hold'Em. Her doorcard was the {A-Hearts} and she picked up the {A-Spades} on 4th street, which led her opponent to muck a pair of Jacks.

Bonnie has right around 35,000 chips and with 1 player left to the money, she's practically a shoe-in to get paid today.

Hand-for-Hand Begins

There are 73 players remaining in the field. The next elimination will put all remaining players in the money.

Be sure to check our Prizepool and Payouts section regularly, as we'll provide you with a complete list of all players who finish in the money as they are eliminated from the tournament.

We're in the Money

All remaining players are now in the money.

Rajiv Khanna was our bubble player this evening. Khanna committed the last of his chips to the pot with K-J, but ran into an opponent's A-K.

A couple of short-stacks throughout the field were especially happy with the timely bustout. Alexandra Vuong was down to her last 1,500 chips, while Daran Norris had just 800 behind, after posting the 500 small blind.

Recent Eliminations

The following players have been eliminated from the tournament, each earning $1,528 in prize money:

67: John Bunch
68: JJ Hazan
69: Steve Higyi
70: Michael Schneider

72: Alexandra Vuong
