We're Back

The players have returned from their dinner break and the cards are in the air.

The game is Omaha 8-or-better with blinds of $1,500 and $3,000.

Matros Wins a HUGE Pot After the Break

Matt Matros
Matt Matros
Matt Matros just took down a monster pot, making tens full of aces on a board of {10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts} {K-Spades} {10-Diamonds}. Matros bet the river and was called by David Duran who showed a pocket pair of jacks, before mucking his cards.

Gary Do had moved all in on the turn and was eliminated from the tournament on the hand.

Matros stacked up approximately 140,000 chips after the hand and has moved to the top of the leader board.

Clark Storms Out

Omaha 8-or-better:

David Duran hit a miracle {4-Hearts} on the river to scoop a huge pot against Scott Clark, which caused Clark to storm away from the table for a hand.

The board read {5-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Hearts} {A-Hearts}, and Clark bet the turn holding A-4-9-9. Duran made the call holding 9-2-5-3, with two hearts.

When the {4-Hearts} hit on the river, Duran made a flush to go with his nut low, which gave him the scoop.

After the hand, Duran stood right around 118,000 chips, while Clark dropped to 45,000.
