It'll be six guns (not six-guns) a-blazin' in Las Vegas starting at 2pm this afternoon, when the finalists in Event #11, $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shoout return to settle the big prize money in a short-handed single-table tournament where everyone starts with the same stack -- a million in chips.

Each of the finalists has already survived two similar elimination rounds to get this far, and a $477,990 prize awaits the winner. Here are the six players who'll mix it up for the big money:

Seat 1: Greg Mueller (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) 1,000,000
Seat 2: Thomas Roupe (Houston, Texas) 1,000,000
Seat 3: Philip Tom (Las Vegas, Nevada) 1,000,000
Seat 4: Leo Wolpert (Fairfax, Virginia) 1,000,000
Seat 5: Timothy West (Los Angeles, California) 1,000,000
Seat 6: Sirous Jamshidi (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) 1,000,000

We'll have all the important hands from the final table. Check back early and often -- in short-handed NLHE, the action can be fast and plentiful.

Setting the Stage

We're getting close to the first hand of today's final table of Event No. 11, the $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout. Staff is carefully placing six stacks of 1,000,000 chips around the table, and crew members are currently setting up cameras and microphones for the ESPN360 broadcast.

Will be a short while, then, before the proceedings get underway. Player bios coming up.

Empty Seats

Looks like we are almost ready to go. Event organizers are still looking for a couple of the players, though. They've just made a "five-minute warning" announcement in the Amazon Room.

It is possible the first hand may be dealt without all six players seated.
