Welcome to the Vinny Vinh Show

Vinny Vinh has just won back-to-back pots to put him back in contention at our final table. The first hand he called a button raise fom Zac Fellows in the small blind and then bet every street. Fellows called him down but mucked when he saw Vinh's {J-?} {J-?}.

The very next hand, Vinh made a button raise himself and found Markus Golser calling from the big blind. The flop came...

{3-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {6-Hearts} Golser checked to Vinh who bet 12,000 before raising it to 24,000. Vinh made the call before we saw the turn...

{7-Diamonds} Golser checked once more and then called a 24,000 bet from Vinh before the river came...

{4-Hearts} Golser led out this time for 24,000. Vinh shook his head and fiddled with his chips before making a reluctant call. Golser mucked his hand before either hand was exposed. Vinh tables {A-Hearts} {4-Spades} {4-Spades} and welcomes the plaudits from his table mates.

Vinh has rocketed up to 290,000 now.

Vinh Gets Some Back From Shultz

Jimmy Shultz made a preflop raise from middle position and the table folded around to Vinny Vinh in the big blind.

As the flop came {6-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}, Vinh checked and Shultz fired a continuation bet. Vinh then made his move and raised, making it 24,000.

After a Shultz call, the turn brought the {4-Hearts}. Vinh led out and Shultz mucked, much to the chagrin of his cheering section, which is led by his brother Jeremy.

Vinh was able to get 48,000 off of Shultz.

We Have Our 9th-Place Finisher

$23,423 for 9th
$23,423 for 9th
Jimmy Shultz raises to 24,000 from early postion before Chung Law re-raises to 36,000 from the very next seat. It's folded back around to Shultz who puts Law all-in after seeing he only has around 20,000 back. Law makes the automatic call holding {10-Clubs} {10-Hearts} but is in bad shape against Shultz's {J-Spades} {J-Hearts}.

All the way to the river on this one...

{8-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {7-Hearts}

Law had a lot of outs by the turn but the river blanked sending even more chips Shultz's way. Law is the first player to be eliminated at this final table.

Shultz getting close to 900,000 chips now.

"Everybody Has to go to Work"

The deck seems to be warming up to Vinny Vinh as he rakes a huge pot from Brendan Taylor.

Vinh made it two bets to go preflop and Taylor called from the big blind. The flop came {4-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} and Taylor checked to Vinh. Vinh bet and Taylor made the call. The turn brought the {5-Spades} and this time Taylor check-raised Vinh.

After much thought, Vinh called and the river was the {3-Diamonds}. Taylor led out and Vinh called.

Taylor turned {A-Hearts} {6-Clubs} for trips and Vinh turned {A-Spades} {7-Hearts} for the straight. "Everybody has to go to work," Vinh quipped as he stacked the massive pot.

Vinh is up to 425,000

Vinny's At It Again

Zac Fellows raises it to 24,000 before Vinny Vinh reraises to 36,000 from the next seat. It's folded back around to Fellows who makes the call before the flop comes...

{K-Spades} {9-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}

Fellows check-calls a 12,000 bet from Vinh before the turn...

{J-Clubs}. Fellows checks again to face a 24,000 bet from Vinh. He responds by raising to 48,000 before Vinh bumps it up to 72,000. After a pause Fellows makes the call before the river is revealed...

{J-Spades}. Fellows checks once more before Vinh bets 24,000. Fellows mucks and Vinh takes down yet another pot.

He asks the rail if they want to see his hand and they respond in cheers but he mucks saying 'Vinny Vinh can't show you that hand because he had king four!'

Vinh is now up to 650,000.

Golser Crippled

It's folded around to Vinny Vinh on the button who raises it to 30,000. Markus Golser calls before we see a flop...

{6-Spades} {9-Hearts} {K-Spades}

Golser checks to Vinh who bets 30,000. Golser calls so we head to the turn...

{6-Clubs}. Golser check-calls a 30,000 bet from Vinh this time before the river comes...

{Q-Clubs}. For the last time, Golser check-calls a 30,000 bet from Vinh. Vinh flips over {6-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} for two pair and the pot. Golser gives a wry smile and releases his cards. He's not smiling inside though as he only has 19,000 left after that pot.

Vinny Does Golser a Favor

Vinny Vinh raises again to 30,000 before Golser calls all in for his last 19,000. Jimmy Shultz calls from the small blind to create a 22,000 side pot before we see the flop...

{Q-Spades} {4-Spades} {3-Hearts}. Both players check so we head to the turn...

{10-Clubs}. Both players check again so we see the river...

{4-Clubs}. Shultz checks to Vinny who bets 30,000. Shultz mucks, thinking Vinh must have a made hand, but Vinh turns over {7-Clubs} {8-Clubs} for eight high. A very grateful Golser takes the main pot with {K-Spades} {J-Clubs} for king high. Apprently Shultz folded A-J which would have won the lot and knocked out Golser!

Niesert Out

Christoph Niesert seems to have gotten the short end of the stick after Vinh's gift to Golser.

On the very next hand, Neisert was all in preflop. Jimmy Shultz and Zac Fellows checked down as the board came {5-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}.

Fellows tabled {K-Spades} {8-Spades} and both Niesert and Schultz mucked.

Niesert finished in 8th place.
