Hand #54 - Steicke

First to act, Hinkle makes it 70,000 to play. O'Brien makes the call, Brockington passes the small blind, but Steicke calls in the big.

With three players seeing a {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{Q-Hearts} flop, Steicke leads out for 130,000. Hinkle and O'Brien chuck away their hands allowing Steicke to pick up the pot.

Steicke Also Has Supporters

In case you were thinking that Hinkle is the only player here who has any friends, there is a rather smaller, rather older, rather more reserved group of railers at one end of the arena who seem to be rooting for David Steicke -- at least, they applaud politely whenever he wins a big pot. The other two players have yet to prove that they have any fans here today -- if they do, they're being very quiet. There is one gentleman currently sleeping in the stands whose favorite player is unknown. Let's hope he's here for O'Brien or Brockington.

Hand #53 - Brockington

Hinkle raises to 60,000 on the button. O'Brien folds the small blind, and Brockington dwells up for a while before calling from the big blind.

Flop: {8-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds}

Brockington checks to Blair, who bets 85,000. Brockington looks down at his hole cards, before going all in for 409,000 total. Now it's Hinkle's turn to check his hole cards, but he chooses to lay it down.

Hand #51 - Hinkle

Steicke makes up the small blind, but Hinkle adds some limper's tax, making it another 90,000 to play. Steicke matches the bet.

{10-Spades}{5-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

Steicke rechecks his cards before checking into the aggressor. Hinkle responds with a bet of 150,000. Steicke quickly folds.

Hand #50 - Hinkle

Hinkle makes it 70,000 utg, and Steicke, apparently keen to clash again after winning the previous hand against Hinkle, calls.

{7-Spades} {4-Spades} {6-Spades}

Steicke thinks for a while before checking. Hinkle checks too.

Turn: {7-Hearts}

Again, Steicke takes his time before checking, This time Hinkle bets 125,000. A long dwell now from Steicke, and eventually he folds.

"Come on sick dog," says a Hinkle supporter at the rail, rather confusingly.

Hand #49 - Steicke

Steicke kicks off the action this hand, making it 90,000 to play.

Play halts on Hinkle just one spot down, who requests a count.

Hinkle makes the call and the flop comes a potentially fun-filled...

{J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

Steicke folds his arms as he contemplates his next move. He checks.

Hinkle doesn't waste any time being pensive, putting Steicke to the test with a bet of 115,000. Steicke makes the call.

Turn = {3-Clubs}

The action is again on Steicke, who opts for a check. Hinkle checks behind.

River = {2-Spades}

Arms still folded, head slightly bobbing, Steicke checks again. So does Hinkle.

Steicke wins the pot with {Q-?}{J-?}.

Heavily Supported

As this final table lacks a 'big name' player and isn't being televised with under-the-table cameras, there is only a smattering of onlookers in the audience.

However, of those, it is Blair Hinkle who appears to be the most heavily supported, his fan base on the rail cheering his triumphs, sharing his woes and constantly getting behind their man.

Could this backing spur him on to victory?
