Chau Giang opened for a raise from middle position, Jim Bechtel called on the button and David Oppenheim called from the small blind. The flop was . Oppenheim checked, Giang bet, Bechtel called and Oppenheim folded. The turn was the . Giang led again and Bechtel called. The river brought the . Giang bet, Bechtel raised and Giang gave it up.
Giang was left with only 31,000 after the hand, while Bechtel increased his stack to 92,000.
Diego Cordovez was just eliminated when he came up short in a hand of razz against Greg "FBT" Mueller. Cordovez was all in on 4th street but when it was all said and done, Cordovez's couldn't match the of Mueller and he was eliminated.
Over at table 3, on the first hand of razz, after the 3rd street action was complete the dealer burned and began to put out a flop. Needless to say there were multiple shouts of "whoa!" and "stop!" from the various players. In the end, there was no harm done and the situation resulted in a good laugh.
Eli Elezra completed on third street and both Annie Duke and Daniel Negreanu called. On fourth street Elezra bet out, Duke called and Negreanu folded. Duke took the lead on fifth, getting a call from Elezra, but bricked on sixth street and called Elezra's bet. Elezra bet seventh street and Duke called.

Bill Gazes completed on 3rd street and Thater raised. Gazes reraised and Thater four-bet. Gazes called. Thater bet 4th street and Gazes called. When Gazes bet 5th street, Thater paused and said, "Do you have quads?" before eventually calling.

Mikhail Ustinov called David Bach's bets all the way to fifth street, with Ustinov committing the last of his chips showing to Bach's . Ustinov had in the hole for a flush draw but the he caught on sixth street ended up being good enough as his pair of fours held up and he survived. That double-up still leaves him very short with just 16,000 chips.
