Loi Tran Eliminated

Loi Tran
Loi Tran
Omaha-8:

After a raise from John D'Agostino, Phil Ivey and Loi Tran made the call. The flop came {10-?} {9-?} {4-?} and Ivey checked. Tran checked behind and D'Agostino bet. Ivey passed but Tran called all in. The players showed:

Tran: {K-?} {6-?} {4-?} {2-?}
D'Agostino: {A-?} {K-?} {5-?} {5-?}

The turn and river came the {K-?} and {10-?} respectively. Both players made two pair, but D'Agostino's ace kicker played. Loi Tran was eliminated.

Tony G On the Brink

With his board showing {Q-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} Tony G watched as Joe Bunevith rolled over the {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {8-Hearts} to go with his exposed {7-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {10-Hearts}. Unable to beat Bunevith's flush Tony mucked his hand, and he's down to just 2,000 chips.

Tony G Triples Up, But...

Stud:

With the last of his chips going in as an ante Tony G tripled up when his trip sevens held up. That didn't stop Ralph Perry and Tony continuing their verbal jousting, with Tony pleased that he got to stick around to stick it to Perry for at least a few more minutes. Perry responded in kind and Tony finally said, "Why won't you let it go? I'm the one with just a few chips and you have plenty."

He's Trying

Stud-8:

Tony G was again all in in a three-way pot with Tim Phan and Tom Dwan. Phan and Dwan were contesting a side pot and Phan chased Dwan out before the showdown, and he ended up chopping the pot with Tony when his pair of nines took the high while Tony's 8-6-7-5-2 took the low.

Tony then turned to Ralph Perry and said, "I'm trying, Ralph. I'm trying to go out," as the back-and-forth continued between those two.

David Grey Eliminated

David Grey - Eliminated
David Grey - Eliminated
Stud:

David Grey was just sent to the rail. He was in good shape through sixth street with a pair of queens, but Andy Bloch rivered a Broadway straight to send him packing. Bloch climbed to just shy of 180,000 chips on the hand.

Phil Ivey Picks Up a Pot from Robert Mizrachi

From middle position Robert Mizrachi raised and Phil Ivey reraised from the button. Mizrachi called and they saw a {A-Hearts} {K-Spades} {7-Hearts} flop. Mizrachi bet and Ivey called, and they did the same when the {7-Spades} turned. When the {6-Spades} came on the flop Mizrachi checked and Ivey bet out. Robert called then mucked as Ivey showed {A-Spades} {J-Clubs}. Ivey is up to 128,000 while that pot left Mizrachi with just 51,000.

Sevens Good for Cernuto

Hold'em:

David Oppenheim raised from early position. "Miami" John Cernuto reraised from middle position and Oppenheim called.

The flop came {Q-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {6-Clubs}. Oppenheim check-called Cernuto's bet. The turn fell the {6-Diamonds} and Oppenheim check-raised Cernuto, who came along. The river was the {10-Hearts} and again David check-called. Cernuto showed {7-Hearts} {7-Clubs} and Oppenheim mucked {A-Spades} {K-Clubs}.
