Mark Vos Doubles before the Break

In what ultimately ended up a battle of the blinds, Mark Vos was able to double through to 11,500 in chips just before the break.

On a flop of {8-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} Vos led out with a 400 bet and was raised to 1,000 by the big blind. Vos then reraised, kicking it up to 2,900 and his opponent made the call.

The {5-Clubs} fell on the turn and Vos open-shoved all in for just 2,475. His opponent made the call and showed {10-Hearts} {4-Clubs}. Vos revealed {Q-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} for the nut straight. An irrelevant {8-?} came on the river and Vos stacked up ~11,500 in new chips -- a timely double-up just before the break.
