The Bubble Has Burst
Good Day to be the Bubble
The first elimination that was reported was of David Pointer who moved all-in from the small blind with pocket aces and was called by a player in the cutoff who held . Pointer's opponent flopped an open-ended straight draw which connected on the river and eliminated Pointer on the bubble.
The second elimination was of Dove Byrne, who was all-in in the small blind for just 300 and was called by Jeff Kent. Kent held pocket twos and Byrne held J-6. Byrne failed to hit a pair by the river and was eliminated from today's event.
