Yang Dodges the Nuts

Three players, including Jerry Yang, checked all the way to the river on a board reading {A-Hearts}

. One of the players then moved all in and Yang stood up as he tanked for a while. After a few minutes, he folded, showing two pair, {6-Spades}

. His opponent was nice enough to show the nuts, {K-Hearts}

as Yang sat back down.

Liz Lieu Sent to the Rail

We pick up the action on the turn, with Liz Lieu involved in a big pot. The board shows {K-Spades}

hits on fourth street.

Lieu checks over to her lone opponent, who makes a bet of 600. Lieu makes the call.

The river pairs the board, {Q-Diamonds}

, and Lieu checks again. The other player bets out 1,100, and Lieu check-raises all in. She is quickly called by her opponent, who shows {A-?}

, making aces full of queens.

Lieu flashes her unknown cards to another player who laments, "Nothing you can do." Lieu has been eliminated just after our break.
