Seidel Suffers a Suckout

Erik Seidel raised to 5,500 from the cutoff and Ben Alcober re-raised all in for 30,100.

Seidel looked at the chips and said "I may have to call." He almost thought better of it when he heard the total. "Wow, that's a lot," he said before making the call.

Seidel: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Alcober: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

When the flop came {A-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Hearts}, Seidel was wishing he'd held on to his chips. The {4-Hearts} and {7-Diamonds} didn't improve his hand, and his stack shrunk to 99,900.

Chau Giang Eliminated
Chau Giang Eliminated
Chau Giang was short-stacked and all in preflop with his {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} against an opponent's {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, but the board of {8-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs} gave his opponent trips and the pot to send Giang to the rail.

Quads Are Good

Ludovic Lacay is another to have doubled up when his {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} held against an opponent's {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. Not only did it hold, but Lacay made quads when the board ran out {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}! He's now up to 95,000 chips.

Keller Kills Off Another

Thomas Keller raised to 7,400 from the small blind and got called by the player in the big blind.

On a flop of {5-Hearts}{A-Spades}{J-Hearts}, Keller led out for 10,000 and his opponent shoved all in. Keller quickly called, showing {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} while his opponent showed {J-?}{Q-?}.

The {8-Spades} and {K-Spades} rounded out the board, giving Keller the pot. He now has 195,000.

Medic Loses Momentum

Nenad Medic

Nenad Medic has taken a hit after his bet of 13,800 was raised to 40,000 on the river on a board of {J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Medic made the call but couldn't better the {J-?}{10-?} tabled by his opponent.

Medic slips down to 90,000.

Hamagami Dominated But Doubles

After a middle position player raised to 5,500 Clark Hamagami decided it was a good spot to move all in for his last 22,000 chips. However his opponent made the call with {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Hamagami found himself dominated and staring down the barrel holding {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}.

That is until the board was spread {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds} pairing up Hamagami and giving him the double. He's back in good shape with 48,000.

Benefield Doubles Opponent

David Benefield opened with a raise to 5,100 and then called when a short stack in the big blind moved all in for his last 20,000.

Benefield tabled {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and was happy enough to be racing against his opponent's {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

The board fell {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Benefield takes a hit to slide to 108,000.
