Wrobbing the Opposition

Further excellent fortune for Anna Wroblewski -- she's taken down a sizable pot with a flush and is up to 22,000.

Wroblewski raised in late position and got looked up by the big blind. They saw a {4-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} flop and both checked, and Wroblewski called 1,000 from the big blind on the {2-Hearts} turn. Come the {2-Diamonds} river the big blind check-called 600 from Wroblewski, and he mucked when Wroblewski showed him {A-Spades} {6-Diamonds}.

Lars Goes Fars

Sole remaining Hougaard Lars is up to 10,000 after calling a 575 bet from an opponent on the turn of a {Q-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {A-Clubs} board, and then checking behind on the {K-Hearts} river. "Er, I've got a ten," ventured his opponent. "That's not good," Hougaard told him, flipping {A-Hearts} {9-Hearts}. "No, I didn't think it was," replied the wistful opponent.

Elky Doing Well-ky

Elky - what a bleach
Elky - what a bleach
Just before the break, Elky's stack got a little boost when he bet and was called on the river of a {2-Spades} {A-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {8-Hearts} board. He turned over {Q-Hearts} {J-Hearts}, his opponent mucked, and he was up to 6,000.

Minh-Raise

A couple big stacks have emerged during the break.

One of them is well-known UK circuit player Sunny Chattha -- he neglected to let us know how it happened, but he's up to 35,000.

Also doing very well indeed is Minh Luu. She raised under the gun and got two callers to see an {A-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {8-Spades} flop and then a {9-Spades} turn; by the time the betting was done she found herself involved in a massive three-way all in between herself, a gent in late position and the big blind.

Luu: {9-Clubs} {9-Hearts}
Mr Late Position: {A-Spades} {J-Spades}
Mr Big Blind: {Q-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}

River: {7-Clubs}

Luu had both players covered and they are long gone; she, meanwhile, is up to 30,000.
