A very curious hand indeed. With the board reading and a lot of chips in the pot already, Benny Champlin bet 100,000 and Brian Fitzpatrick went into the tank. When he came back out again, he called -- and turned over an astounding pocket eights. What's more astounding is that he was right -- Champlin could only boast pocket threes, and to some impressed whistling and mutterings of, "Nice call," around the table, Fitzpatrick moved on up to 800,000 while Champlin dropped to 685,000.
