It's an evening kick-off for event number #27, the PLO8 with a $5,000 buy-in. This is a brand new event for this year (last year there was only one PLO8 event - a $1,500 one) so expect a lot big names hunting the elusive bracelet to be in this field, hoping to take advantage of one of the smaller fields at this year's WSOP.
The tournament is scheduled to kick off in about 10 minutes.
Today's tournament is 'Triple Chance' in that players start with 5,000 and can take two more sets of 5,000 chips at any time during the first three levels.
Already some players are looking like they might take all 15,000 chips at once to maximise the chance of scooping other players' stacks.

The board was reading and Mike Matusow's raise of 2,650 had just been dwarfed by his opponent's reraise for an additional 6,700.
Matusow was looking perplexed, constantly rechecking his cards. At that point, Thor Hansen came by to check on Mike, the latter saying, "I might be going home in a sec, buddy!"
Matusow did though, eventually fold and got shown for his trouble.
Australian Sam Khouiss just found himself in the unenviable position of getting his stack in on a board with for top set with a live deuce but his opponent held for a made 2-5 low and freerolling the flush and straight draws.
The river was the making a wheel which scooped both pots.
One player has already on his second chance after getting it in on a flop with against . The turn brought two additional outs but the made jacks-full over sevens-full.
