Play Slowing Down

With players only one table away from being on the unofficial final table, play has began to slow down.

Players nowadays understand the importance of making a WSOP final table, and are consequently more cautious as we count down to awarding another gold bracelet.

Chang Clipped

Mike Zulker pushed the action to 115,000 from the small blind and Jeff Chang called in the big blind.

Zulker led out for 150,000 on the {J-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop and Chang made the call. The turn landed the {7-Clubs} and Zulker fired 275,000 into Chang.

Chang made the call and both players checked the river of the {4-Diamonds} to see Zulker table {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades} for top-pair and a muck from Chang to follow.

With Zulker raking in the pot to move to 1,480,000, Chang slipped to 510,000 in chips.

Unofficial Final Table

We have now reached our unoffical final table:

Seat 1: Zack Fritz
Seat 2: Avi Braz
Seat 3: Rico Ramirez
Seat 4: Jason Potter
Seat 5: Jose Luis Franco
Seat 6: Mike Zulter
Seat 7: Mike Eise
Seat 8: Joey Brattole
Seat 9: Jeff Chang
Seat 10: Barry Berger

Zulker Takes His First

Rico Ramirez opened to 100,000 from middle position and Mike Zulker made the call from the button.

The flop of {K-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} brought about a check from Ramirez, which was followed by a bet of 125,000 from Vulker.

Ramirez folded and Zulker took down the pot to move to over 1.6 million in chips.
