Ming Reslock Doubles Up

Ming Reslock raised preflop and got re-raised by Freddy Deeb. After calling, she pushed all in on a flop of {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Freddy called and Ming turned up {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for a flopped straight, which stood up to scoop the hand.

Sebastian Ruthenberg Eliminated in 10th Place ($16,829)

Sebastian Ruthenberg was all in preflop for his last 40,000 chips. Jim Geary called and the two blinds called, Jordan Rich in the small blind and Pascal Leyo in the big blind.

The three players checked all the way until the river on a board of {10-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds}. Rich checked the river followed by Leyo. Geary opted to bet and only Rich called.

For the side pot, Geary showed {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {2-Clubs}. Rich showed {J-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} {7-Hearts}. Geary took the high while Rich took the low. Ruthenberg could beat neither of his opponents' high or low hands and mucked. Last year's $5,000 World Championship Stud Hi/Lo winner and EPT Barcelona winner would go home in 10th place for $16,829.

Seat 3 - Pascal Leyo
Seat 4 - Robert Price
Seat 5 - Freddy Deeb
Seat 6 - Senovio Ramirez

Jim Geary Gets Quartered

In a heads-up pot with Robert Price, Geary bet a flop of {4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and got a call. He was then raised after betting the {J-Hearts} on the turn.

After calling all in, Geary showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Spades} while Price also showed an ace 3 along with two hearts. When a blank hit the river, Price took the high with a flush and chopped the low, quartering Geary who is now the short stack.

Unlucky Freddy

Ming "Joy" Reslock raised preflop and Freddy Deeb made the call. The flop came down {K-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {3-Spades} and Reslock fired. Deeb raised and she called.

The turn brought the {10-Spades}. A check from Reslock was followed by a bet from Deeb. Reslock called. Both players then checked after the {Q-Spades} hit the felt on the river.

"Flush." announced Reslock as she tabled {A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {9-Spades} {5-Spades}. Deeb studied the hand and then mucked his holding, dropping to 225,000. Reslock increased to 400,000.

Deeb Stayin' Alive

Thang Luu raised from under the gun and action folded around to Freddy Deeb in the small blind. He thought about his decision with a very short stack and eventually decided to stick it in. Luu made the call.

Showdown
Deeb: {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds}
Luu: {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {J-Spades}

The flop came down {9-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {2-Diamonds}. The turn fell the {7-Spades} and Deeb locked up a low. The river was the {10-Spades}. Luu's ace-king high was good enough for the high with Deeb taking the low to stay alive and get a few thousand more chips. He now has around 75,000.

Geary Triples Up

Jim Geary pushed preflop and got called by Ming Reslock and Ed Smith, who both checked the flop of {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}.

Smith check-called the {10-Spades} on the turn and both players checked the {Q-Clubs} on the river. Reslock showed bottom two pair and Smith mucked. Geary then revealed his hand and showed ace king for Broadway, scooping the pot.

Smith Calls the Clock on Rich

On a flop of {A-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {6-Spades}, Ming "Joy" Reslock fired a bet and Jordan Rich raised. Reslock made the call and the two players would see the turn come the {A-Diamonds}. Reslock checked and Rich bet. Reslock called.

The river was the {J-Hearts} and Reslock led out. Rich sat in the tank for a few minutes before Ed Smith announced that he wanted a clock called. Rich waited until the staff informed him that he had ten seconds left before mucking. Reslock showed him {A-?} {J-?}.

After Thang Lee raised and got called by Jordan Rich, Pascal Leyo re-raised all in.

Lee and Rich checked the board down and, when all was done, Leyo showed pocket 3s to hit a full house on a board of {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and claim the high, while Rich showed ace-2 for the low.
