Maria Ho hasn't exactly put her newly-found chips to good use. In recent hands she called down Greg Mueller who showed her a full house, and then ran into the set of queens of Kenny Hsiung.
Hsiung is very effectively captaining his table. Just now he called bets from Greg Mueller all the way down the board until Mueller checked the river; Hsiung out in a quietly confident bet, and after a little, "Wow," from Mueller, it was enough to make him fold.
As if to confirm his status, he raised under the gun the next hand and everyone folded to him. Respect.
Kenny Hsiung raised under the gun and Soheil Shamseddin reraised with 70,000 behind. After giving it some thought, Hsiung flatted and they saw a flop.
Flop:
Hsiung bet out and this time it was Shamseddin's turn to just call.
Turn: Hsiung bet out again, and finally Shamseddin got the last of his chips in with a raise. Call, and it was an easy double up for Shamseddin, who celebrated with a little fist pump.

Shamseddin:
River: a harmless
Shamseddin is now back up to a more respectable 250,000.
One table is certainly emerging as the action table. On that table, Pat Pezzin raised the button before Kenny Hsiung three-bet from the small blind. Soheil Shamseddin then four-bet from the big blind with Pezzin folding and Hsiung calling.
The flop was and Hsiung checked to Shamseddin who bet. Hsiung made the call.
The turn brought the and this time Hsiung led out with a bet. Shamseddin quickly raised and Hsiung called.
The river landed the and Hsiung checked, Shamseddin bet again and Hsiung made a crying call. Shamseddin tabled for a flopped two pair to take it down.
"It's almost like you knew it was coming!" quipped Pezzin as Shamseddin has recovered nicely to now sit with 440,000 chips.
Soheil Shamseddin has picked up another hefty pot from Kenny Hsiung -- he's made a remarkable comeback to put him up to 640,000, while Hsiung is down to 700,000.
Maria Ho and Kenny Hsiung saw a flop. Ho checked it, and then raised to the bet from Hsiung. Call.
Ho bet out on the turn, leaving herself just pocket change behind. Again, a call.
Come the river there was no getting away from it. Ho stuck her last few chips in, Hsiung called, they flipped the cards and Ho stood up and left without so much as a goodbye.
