Brown Doubles Through Bevand

Manuel Bevand upped the ante to 24,000 before Kyle Brown pushed all 100,000 of his chips into the middle. Bevand called and the cards were shown.

Bevand: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Brown: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

When the board came {4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, the kings held and Brown doubled to 225,000. Bevand slipped back to 130,000.

Kovacs Has Aces Cracked; Busts

Andreas Kovacs moved all in for 105,000 from under-the-gun and got called by Corwin Cole in the big blind.

Kovac held an early lead with ace-ace versus Cole's six-six, but a flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} changed all that. When the board finished {K-Spades}{2-Clubs}, Kovacs was eliminate and Cole had a stack of 690,000.

Brandon Myers Eliminated

With just 45,000 left, Brandon Myers moved all in preflop with {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. He got called by Jamie Brown who held {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Myers left the tournament area when he couldn't improve on a board of {2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{J-Hearts}.

Heger Eliminated

Will Heger moved all in for 200,000 from the button and got called by Andrew Seden in the big blind.

Heger liked what he saw when he tabled {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} against Seden's {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Heger's hand stood up through a flop of {8-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, but fell behind when the {5-Hearts} appeared on the turn. The {Q-Clubs} on the river provided no help, and Heger went home while Seden built his stack to 645,000.

Wong Falls

Marty Wong put his last few thousand into the middle with {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and was unable to outdraw Andrew White's {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}.

We are now re-drawing for the final three tables.

Mourneau Wins Battle of the Joes

Joe Baldwin check-called for 30,000 against Joe Mourneau on a flop of {A-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. He check-called another 40,000 when the {9-Spades} hit the turn, and 75,000 more when the {A-Spades} spiked the river.

The calling cost him dearly as he turned over {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} only to find that Mourneau held {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}.

The hand dropped Baldwin's stack to 280,000 and increased Mourneau's count to 750,000.
