Phil Sparta Tells Us About His Day
In the first, the player under-the-gun raised to 2,800 and Sparta reraised to 7,500. When the small blind shoved for 32,000, the under-the-gun player folded and Sparta called.

Sparta:
Before the flop, the under-the-gun player announced he folded pocket sevens, which was too bad since he would have made quads when the first three cards came down 7-7-4. When the turn and river brought bricks, Sparta took the pot.
In the next hand, Steve Bibi raised to 3,000 from under-the-gun and Sparta called from the button. Brett Switzer raised to 13,000 from the small blind, Bibi folded, and Sparta called again.
Switzer bet 12,500 on a flop of jack-jack-9, and Sparta raised to 30,000. Switzer then check-called for 40,000 when a 10 appeared on the turn, and check folded when Sparta shoved when an 8 fell on the river.
Sparta didn't show his hand, but said he was holding for a full house.
