No Stopping Naalden

Could Tommy soon be Hanging up his sunglasses?
Could Tommy soon be Hanging up his sunglasses?
No better luck for Tommy Hang -- he's down to 119,000 with the rest of his stack going to, you've guessed it, Marc Naalden.

Naalden made up the small blind and Hang checked; they saw a {4-Spades} {8-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} flop. Naalden bet out but Hang raised; he called and they saw a {5-Diamonds} turn.

Naalden now check-raised and Hang called him, and then Naalden bet out on the {A-Spades} river. Hang called, but couldn't beat Naalden's {A-Clubs} {2-Diamonds}.

Naalden is up to 1.7 million.

Keating's Turn to Hand His Chips to Naalden

Naalden's taken a chunk out of Keating this time, calling Keating's button raise with {5-Spades} {8-Hearts} in the big blind and then finding that Keating couldn't beat it after they checked down the {J-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {K-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} board.

Keating: down to 130,000
Naalden: "runnning over the table" doesn't even begin to describe it

Hanging On for Dear Life

Marc Naalden raised his small blind and Tommy Hang called from the big. Naalden bet out on the {J-Spades} {7-Spades} {8-Diamonds} flop and then reraised to Hang's raise. Hang called all in, and promptly doubled up.

Hang: {J-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds}
Naalden: {A-Spades} {7-Clubs}

Turn: {8-Spades}
River: {Q-Hearts}

Hang Up

A bit of a recovery for Tommy Hang.

He called Marc Naalden's small blind raise from the big blind, and Naalden check-called Hang's bets all the way down the {4-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} board before mucking when Hang turned over {6-Hearts} {7-Diamonds}.

Hang up to 335,000.

Cowley's Coming Back

And now, as though he's suddenly decided to give someone else a chance, Marc Naalden has boosted Steven Cowley's stack to 625,000.

Naalden raised his button and both Tommy Hang in the small blind and Steven Cowley in the big blind called.

The {7-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {7-Clubs} flop checked around to Naalden who bet; Hang folded but Cowley raised. Call.

Cowley bet out on the {4-Spades} turn and Naalden raised -- and after a while, Cowley three-bet. Naalden called, and then called again when Cowley bet out on the {Q-Hearts} river.

Cowley turned over {7-Spades} {5-Spades} to take the pot; Naalden flashed the {2-Clubs}.

Hang Down

Tommy Hang is down to 190,000 and Ian Johns is up to 240,000 after Hang was forced to fold to a bet from Johns on the river of the {9-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {2-Hearts} {2-Spades} {10-Spades} board.

Lucky Sevens for Naalden

Steven Cowley raised his button and Marc Naalden called from the big blind. Both players checked the {6-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {9-Clubs} flop, and Naalden bet out on the {8-Hearts} turn and again on the {8-Clubs} river; both times Cowley called.

Cowley just mucked, however, when Naalden turned over pocket {7-Spades} {7-Hearts}.
