Player Profile: Jack McClelland
McClelland has always had an interest in poker, but it wasn't until the 1980's when he saw how poorly some tournaments were run that he decided to be proactive and take steps forward to change that.
In 1984, McClelland took a job at the World Series of Poker as a Tournament Director and remained loyal until 1989.
From there he travelled the country working tournament to tournament after his reputation flourished throughout the poker community.
Finally McClelland would settle in Las Vegas and still work as a Tournament Director to this day at a local casino.
With two previous WSOP cashes back in 1988 and 2000, McClelland will be hoping to add another here, and maybe even a shiny gold bracelet to his collection.
