Chaplin Doubles Up

Joe Chaplin
Joe Chaplin
Joseph Chaplin made it 100,000 to go from the button and Christopher DeMaci moved all in for 600,000 more. Chaplin called and we were racing.

Chaplin: {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
DeMaci: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Chaplin took the lead on a flop of {Q-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and held on as the board finished {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. He doubled up to 1,300,000 while DeMaci fell back to 700,000.

Shove and Win

Sergey Konkin made a standard raise from the button and Jason Wheeler reraised an additional 250,000 from the big blind.

Action moved back to Konkin, who went all in and Wheeler folded.

Wheeler Grabs Some Chips

Jason Wheeler made it 125,000 to play from under-the-gun and got called by Joseph Chaplin in middle position.

A flop of {4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{K-Spades} brought a continuation bet of 185,000 from Wheeler and fold by Chaplin.

Veckey Doubles Up

A battle of the blinds left Jason Wheeler down, but not out.

Tony Veckey raised to 225,000 from the small blind and Wheeler moved all in from the big. Veckey called all in for a total of 785,000 and the hands were opened.

Wheeler: {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Veckey: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

When the board came {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, Veckey doubled to 1.6 million while Wheeler slipped back to 1.95 million.

Christopher DeMaci Eliminated in 7th Place ($98,933)

Christopher DeMaci
Christopher DeMaci
Christopher DeMaci tried to steal the blinds by open shoving for 525,000 from the small blind. Sergey Konkin wouldn't let that happen from the big blind though, and made the call.

DeMaci: {Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Konkin: {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

Each player connected on a flop of {5-Spades}{J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Konkin held on when the board finished {4-Clubs}{K-Clubs}. DeMaci left in seventh place with $98,933.

Chaplin Keeps Pushing

Joseph Chaplin raised to 125,000 from under-the-gun and Jason Wheeler came along from the big blind.

Both players checked a flop of {7-Clubs}{J-Spades}{10-Clubs}, and Wheeler checked again at the {Q-Diamonds} on the turn. Chaplin led out for 150,000, and Wheeler mucked.

Wheeler Pads His Stack

Sergey Konkin raised to 125,000 from early position and got called by Jason Wheeler.

Konkin then check-called for 80,000 after a flop of {10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, and check-called another 185,000 when the {8-Hearts} hit the turn. Konkin checked the {4-Diamonds} on the river, and folded when Wheeler bet another 450,000.
