Ausmus Outta Here

Jeremy Ausmus has been sent packing when his {A-Spades}{K-Spades} were unable to outdraw Christopher Meinertsen's {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}.

The board ran out {J-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} to see Ausmus on the rail and Meinertsen up to 55,000 in chips.

Bui Exits

Only an orbit after getting crippled Lily Bui pushed her last 5,500 into the middle.

Jerry Skelton made the call, as did Thomas Fuller to see the {5-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Spades} board checked down.

Skelton tabled {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} and both players mucked, while Bui stood up to exit the tournament floor.

Heintshcel Doubles

Chris Heintschel got his stack in against L.J. De Vries, and like what he saw.

Heintschel: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
De Vries: {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

A board of {7-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds} only improved Heintshel's mood, as he doubled up to 20,000

Cloud Nine for Perry

In a four way limped pot, everybody checked a flop of {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. When Lauren Kling bet 3,700 on the {9-Clubs} on the turn, she got rid of half the competition, and got called by Perry.

The {Q-Hearts} on the river brought two more checks before Perry tabled his {7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for top pair and gut-shot straight flush draw. Kling mucked as Perry scooped up the chips.

A Dramatic Time For Hamrick

Dean Hamrick heading to drama class with Tran
Dean Hamrick heading to drama class with Tran
Thai Tran opened with a raise to 4,200 from early position, and once it had folded round to Dean Hamrick in the small blind, he made it 12,400 total.

Tran, looking visibly distressed, looked up from under his hoodie and asked for a count. Hamrick pulled his hands back so as Tran could have a good look before covering his stack back.

Tran sank back under his hood for a futher two minutes before pushing all in. Hamrick called and tabled {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} only to be matched by Tran's {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}.

"All that drama for nothing" commented Hamrick as he saw the board run out {5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} to see both players chop the pot up.

Trips Are Good for Outram

Julien Legros made it 2,800 to go from middle position and Stephen Outram came along.

Legros checked a flop of {9-Hearts}{K-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Outram led for 3,900. Legros thought for a few seconds before check-raising an additional 5,500, and Outram then thought before calling.

Both players checked the {J-Hearts} on the turn and {10-Hearts} on the river before Outram turned over {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for trips. Legros showed the {K-Hearts} and mucked. The hand boosted Outram's stack to more than 76,000.

Are You Serious?

With every table's hand complete apart from one, a crowd started to gather around that table.

The board read {2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and one player had pushed all in to put his opponent to a decision for his tournament life.

The at risk player sat in the tank for over three minutes before folding {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} face up to the shock of the table.

His opponent raked in the pot and tabled his {9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for a nine-high semi bluff.

The bubble is really taking its measure on players!
