Wajcman Wins Pot and Warning

Brent Wajcman was a little bit excited when he found a much needed double up with his {A-?}{J-?} cracking his opponent's pocket queens when an ace spiked on the flop.

Wajcman raked in the 150,000 chips and high-fived his buddies on the rail, only to be given an "informal warning" in regards to the excessive celebration rule.

Cross Out

Peter Cross reraised all in for 31,500 from the small blind before the flop and got a call from Gabriel Torres in the cutoff.

Torres showed {K-Spades}{5-Spades} to dominate Cross' {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, and took a commanding lead when he flopped two pair on a board of {K-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Cross bricked out on the turn and river as neither the {10-Diamonds} or {4-Hearts} provided any help.

Torres is now among the chip leaders with 200,000.

Overnight Leader Takes a Fall

Kia Hamadani has just doubled through overnight chip leader Victor Greeley. The chips went in on a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} with Hamadani holding two pair with {Q-?}{10-?} but needing to dodge plenty of outs against Greeley's {A-Diamonds}{7-?}.

The turn and river bricked out running eights and Hamadani doubles to 300,000, leaving Greeley with 109,000.

Pesek Power

We didn't catch the preflop action, but believe Michael Pesek had reraised a button stealer, before pricing himself to call the all-in shove.

Pesek revealed {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} against his opponent's {A-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. The board filled out {4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{K-Spades}{7-Spades} to give Pesek the pot and eliminate his opponent.

Pesek is now up to 290,000 chips.

Sarang Ahuja is on a Heater

Sarang Ahuja has taken a commanding chip lead after busting three players on three straight hands.

In the first hand, Mike Souza shoved for 31,500 over Ahuja's preflop raise. Ahuja called, showing {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} versus Souza's {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

Ahuja took the hand with a full house on a board of {7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and built his stack to 360,000.

Next, Ahuja took out Hyun Jung when he called an all in with {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} versus Jung's {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. The board of {K-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} didn't help Jung, and Ahuja quickly moved to 510,000.

Finally, took out a third opponent when he called another preflop all in, this time with {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}. His opponent held {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and was drawing almost dead. If his over-pair wasn't enough to win the hand, Ahuja rivered the nut flush on a board of {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to build his stack to 550,000.

Air Volpe

Clint Miller opened with a raise to 16,000 from middle position before Paul Volpe popped it up to 44,000 to go from the big blind. Miller made the call and they took a flop of {K-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

First to act was Volpe and he decided the best approach was to move all in. It forced a fold from Miller as Volpe flashed {A-Spades}{10-Hearts} for nothing but ace-high as he raked in the chips.

Miller slips to 96,000 with Volpe now up to 175,000.

Greeley Recovers

Victor Greeley
Victor Greeley
After a late position player raised to 10,500, Victor Greeley moved all in for his last 61,000. His opponent made the call with {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} as Greeley held the lead with his {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{7-Diamonds} to give Greeley trip aces and the double up to 123,000.
