Vance Doubles

With the action on Matthew Vance, he moved all in for 290,000 from the cutoff.

Christopher Brammar sat there contemplating a decision before announcing call and flipping over his {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}.

Vance tabled his {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, and after the board ran out {4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}, Vance doubled through to 660,000 as Brammar slips to 1,070,000 in chips.

Dawkins vs Duong

Dalton Dawkins
Dalton Dawkins

Daniel Duong raised to 45,000 and was called by Dalton Dawkins in the big blind. The flop came down {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and both players checked.

The turn was the {J-Spades} and this time Dawkins bet out 40,000. Duong thought about it and decided to make the call.

The river was the {5-Hearts} and again Dawkins bet 40,000. This sent Duong into the tank for a couple minutes before he mucked. Dawkins is up to 440,000 while Duong drops to 230,000.

Savvides Prays For Aces

David Hong opened to 42,000 from middle position only to have Nicholas Heather three-bet to 87,000 from the cutoff.

"If there is a God . . . I have two Aces!" screamed Marios Savvides.

Savvides slowly sweated out his hand in the big blind.

"There is a God" Savvides screamed before pushing his last 91,000 into the middle.

Hong folded by Heather made the call.

Heather: {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Savvides: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to see Savvides double through to 345,000 in chips.

"I'm going to start going to church" Savvides added as the next hand began.

Baker Pushes, Dawkins Calls

David Baker raised to 48,000 under the gun and was reraised by Dalton Dawkins to 148,000. When action folded back to Baker, he moved all in.

Baker had Dawkins, who had 255,000 behind, covered. Dawkins thought for awhile before announcing, "Call."

Baker turned over {Ah]{K-Diamonds} and was racing against Dawkin's {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}. The spectators around the rail leaned is as the flop came down {5-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. Dawkins held on to the lead, but it was short lived as the {A-Clubs} hit the turn.

Dawkins seemed to know that he was toast, as he began to rise even before the {5-Diamonds} hit the river. Dawkins was eliminated in 19th place.
