Alaei and Pescatori Chop

Max Pescatori (X)(X) / {3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Spades} / (X)
Daniel Alaei (X)(X) / {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} / (X)
Opponent (X)(X) / {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}

Alaei turned over {6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for two pair sixes and sevens. Pescatori had {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs} in the hole for a 8-6-4-3-A low and they split the pot. Alaei is hanging on with 16,000 in chips while Pescatori is up to 68,000.

Mizzi bet sixth street after Bronshtein and Schulmn checked. Both players then called. On seventh, Schulman bet after Bronshtein checked. Mizzi tossed in a raise and Bronshtein folded. Schulman made the call.

Sometimes a Pair of Fours Can Scoop

*&$*#$&(*&#@$(*!!!
*&$*#$&(*&#@$(*!!!

Dan Kelly (X)(X) / {A-Clubs}{2-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} / (X)
Max Pescatori (X)(X) / {3-Spades}{A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} / (X)

We picked this hand up on sixth street, with Dan Kelly leading out and Max Pescatori making the call. Kelly bet again on the river and Pescatori looked him up.

Kelly turned over {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for nothing more than a pair of fours and a busted low draw. Pescatori released a torrent of curse words in Italian as he tabled {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}(?) for a busted flush draw. Kelly scooped the pot and is up to 58,000.
