Hellmuth Doubles Through Dempsey

With the flop reading {5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}, play checked to Phil Hellmuth who moved all in for his last 35,800 chips. His opponent, James Dempsey went into the tank for a long time as Hellmuth began the table talk. Amnon Flippi and Chau Giang were running in from other tables to grab a look as Hellmuth's tournament was at stake when Dempsey made the call.

Dempsey: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Hellmuth: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The turn was the {3-Clubs} and river the {8-Clubs} and Hellmuth finds a much needed double up just before the break to around 85,000 as Dempsey slips to 108,000.

Mcmurphy Will Enjoy His Dinner

Kyle Mcmurphy moved all in for his last 41,000 chips from early position and play folded around to Jesse Chinni who made the call in the big blind.

Mcmurphy: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Chinni: {A-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The board arrived {8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Mcmurphy finds a pair to stay alive. He'll come back after dinner with around 85,000 as Chinni is back to 58,000.

We're Back!

The players are back following the dinner break and the cards are in the air!

The goal this evening is to reach a final table or play a maximum of ten levels, with the latter the most likely scenario. There are presently 95 players remaining in the field with the top 72 to finish in the cash.

Hwang Chops Down Hendriks

Robert Hwang and Kelsey Hendriks found their chips in the middle preflop in one of the first hands back from the dinner break.

Hwang: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Hendriks: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The typical tournament race saw the pair hold against the overcards as the board ran out {8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. Hwang made a ten-high straight to send Hendriks to the rail.

Mixed Fortunes For Arieh's Big Slick

Maxim Lykov is the latest to hit the rail in a big three-way all-in clash. Lykov took {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} to war against Josh Arieh's {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and Anton Nikaj's {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

The board fell {2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and Nikaj's tens hold up to jump him to 172,000.

Arieh was down to 47,000 but it wasn't for long. Soon after he opened with a raise before Max Greenwood three-bet to 21,200. Arieh shoved all in and Greenwood thought for a moment, did the math, and tossed out calling chips.

Arieh: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Greenwood: {8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

This time Arieh's 'Big Slick' was a little kinder as the board bricked out {Q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Ariah doubles back to 105,000 with Greenwood down to 58,000.

Hit The Bricks Mac

Tomas Macnamara open-shipped for his last 60,000 or so before James Carroll moved all in over the top. The action folded to Robert Hwang and he also declared himself all in!

Macnamara: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Carroll: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Hwang: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

Hwang was in front and it stayed that way on the {Q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} board. Hwang moves up to 325,000, Carroll slips to 57,000 while Macnamara hits the bricks.
