Young Phan opened to 1,200 from the cutoff and Martijn Hendrikx made the call from the big blind.
The flop came and both players checked. The turn brought a and more action. Phan led out for 1,800 and Hendrikx re-raised all in for 2,350.
"You have , don't you?" Asked Phan, he made the call anyways. Hendrikx showed his hand ,close. His cards weren't as good as his guess though. Phan had for middle pair. The river was an uneventful . Hendrikx doubled up to 7,400 and Phan was left with 5,000.
Zachary Clark had been riding a short stack for the past few hours. We didn't catch the hand, but it seems like lady luck finally caught up to Clark as he is no longer at Table 5. His empty seat has already been filled after Clark made his exit late on Day 1A.
Alan Smurfit, who won a bracelet in 2007 Event #33 Pot Limit Omaha with Rebuys, is currently in the field. He told our field reporter, "Just tell them Smurfits drinking and playing crazy."
