Razo Chipping Up

Brain Razo had an opponent all in preflop to be in great shape with {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} against {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}.

The {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{K-Clubs} flop virtually ended proceedings, and once the {8-Clubs} and {A-Spades} on the turn and river landed, Razo sent his opponent to the rail while also chipping up to 180,000 in chips.

Zheng, Sykes Sent Packing

Jackson Zheng is busto
Jackson Zheng is busto

Jackson Zheng entered the pot for his last 20,000 from early position and Luigi Caramatti made the call before Mark Sykes moved all in for 50,000.

With the action back on Caramatti, he called the additional amount and we were off to a showdown.

Zheng: {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Caramatti: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Sykes: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} to see Zheng and Sykes hit the rail as Caramatti climbs to 395,000 in chips.

Dombroski Buz-Gone

Facing a raise to 7,000 from early position, John Dombroski moved all in for just over 38,000 from the button before Daniel Buzgon followed suit.

The original raiser folded as Dombroski tabled his {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} to be in bad shape against Buzgon's {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Spades}{k-Clubs}{K-Spades} to see Dombroski sent to the rail as Buzgon climbed to 240,000 in chips.

The Shark Takes a Bite

We didn't catch the action preflop on this hand but after a flop of {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, PokerStars Team Pro Humberto Brenes check-raised his opponent. To that, his opponent answered with an move all in. Brenes made the call for his tournament life.

Brenes tabled {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts} to his opponent's {7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

The {a-Spades} fell on the turn and the {q-Spades} on the river. Brenes took the pot with jack-high and is up to 250,000. His opponent, who didn't have Brenes covered by much, was crippled.

Daubl Doubles

It was all in preflop between Veronica Dabul and her opponent, Kyle Shigano. Dabul was all in for her tournament life with {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} against {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

The flop came down {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, and the {7-Hearts} hit the turn giving Dabul a boat. The {6-Hearts} river didn't give Shigano what he needed to eliminate Dabul and she doubled to 35,900 while he sits at 74,000.

Merkow KO'd

We didn't catch how it all went down, but another player at the table told us the story.

Greg Merkow open shoved for around 27,800 and it was folded around to Reed Hensel in the small blind who reshoved.

The big blind got out of the way and the cards were on their backs.

Merkow: {a-}{8-}
Hensel: {8-}{8-}

The board brought no help to Merkow when it rolled out {10-}{q-}{6-}{k-}{k-} and he was sent to the payout desk.
